Hello, my name is Kathryn (Katie) Michalovic. Welcome to my art website!



I am a maker, a creator, and a Synesthete. Growing up with Synesthesia meant living in a world overflowing with fascinating colors all the time. The form of Synesthesia I have makes colors, shapes, and designs appear in my visual field with every sound. As a child and young adult I found that one of the easiest ways to cope with Synesthesia and express everything I was experiencing was to create art.

In college I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography, and a minor in Computer Information Technology.

 

My favorite forms of art are photography, oil painting, wire wrapping, and card making.
